Overview

Within walking distance to Empower Field, home of the Denver Broncos, K&A performed building envelope commissioning for a new 6-story highrise apartment building. During design development K&A performed reviews of the building envelope construction documents to become familiar with project requirements and design intent, construction requirements, and compliance with the applicable building codes. During construction we performed on-site observations to document the approved materials were being installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations and the architectural drawings. We also performed water spray tests to validate the wateritght construction of various fenestrations. Our weekly communications with the general contractor and our non-conforming list worked to assure the complete project met the goals of the design intent.Withi
